Rebuilding the house

Diploma thesis was prepared it the level of a project documentation. The theme is the project of the rebuilding of the former school house from 1890 in the village Třešť, which is currently unused. The building will newly merge premises of the library, information center, multifunctional hall, elementary art school and exhibition space. The project solves the rebuilding of the existing building, including rehabilitation of wet masonry by chemical grouting and a new extension of sanitary facilities and escape route.

Reconstruction of Medov court Hermanuv Mestec

The subject of the bachelor's thesis is to draw up the project documentation for the building permit and also to make parts of the documentation for the execution of the construction. The project proceeds from the architectonic study which was worked out during the summer semester in 2019 in pursuance of the subject AG035 Architectural design studio V.- Monument restoration. The main topic of the study is an overall reconstruction of the homestead and finding a new functional use of the listed building. The assigned parcel of land is situated in the Masaryk's square in Heřmanův Městec. The building historical research states a proof of the existence of the homestead already in 1591. The complicated constructional history of the object is in accordance with its function to provide a farming, dwelling and administrative base for the adjoining, aristocratic mansion. Towards the end of the 18 century this building went through the classicism transformation which has been defining its external appearance up to now. These days the building is mostly used as accommodation for a socially lower class which resulted in the deterioration of its technical state. This piteous situation more and more endangers the protected values of the listed building. The primary aim was to find the right concept with respect to the functional use of the solved object. The whole effort was aimed to create such a functional content which would breath life to the Medov's homestead and will open its door to the inhabitants as well as visitors. In the object there are situated premises that will not directly endanger or degrade the listed building by any their activities. These premises will make a maximal use of the homestead possible in the course of all day. Last but not least I also put an emphasis on the economic aspect of the building by placing restaurants, small shops and an administrative center in order to generate a certain financial benefit for the town.

Marketing Mix of Souvenir Gift Shop

The main aim of the thesis is to formulate suggestions and recommendations in the area of the marketing mix. The main focus is directed to the souvenirs for the Information Center „TO JE Brno“. The thesis is devided into three parts. The first part specifies the basic theoretical terms from the point of marketing. The second part deals with the analysis of the marketing mix, customers and competition. The output is the SWOT analysis. The last part of the thesis contains personal suggestions and recommendations.

Reservoirs - Brno, Zluty kopec (Yellow hill)

The task was to design a new use for three former underground reservoirs on Žlutý kopec in Brno and its area. The main goal of the pre-diploma project was to define the use of reservoirs, which is reflected in the urban design. Connections, entrances to the area, the use of existing buildings and overall use of the area is part of the urbanism part. The main design itself contains the building of the information and visitor center, which allows access to the oldest and youngest reservoir. The design of the building uses different height levels in the area and connects the street level with the park level.

New synagogue Teplice

The subject of this diploma project was to design an architectural proposal of The New Synagogue and Jewish Community Centre in Teplice, Czech Republic. The main goal was to design a complex of buildings which would be used not only for the worships but also for cultural and educational purposes. The proposal consists of the design of 3 buildings connected to each other by a cen-tral courtyard. The form is based on the traditional values set into contemporary de-sign shaped by demands of current generations. One of the main design elements - the beam structure above the courtyard implies a symbol of The Star of David as the symbol of Judaism as we know today. The building of New Synagogue represents the first, three storey building on the north part of plot. The second, east part, is building consisting of cultural centre, info centre, museum, gallery and spaces for workshops with it's technical and sanitary facilities. A Kosher Restaurant will be located into the third and last two-storey building. An undeground parking will be used by the staff and visitors of the whole complex.

BUT Area Kraví hora

The subject of this diploma thesis is to continue on the previous atelier work, which was focused on elaboration of a strategic urban-architectural study of the Kraví hora area and the BUT holding located there. A multifunctional facility, which would include activities that BUT still lacks, should be designed there. In any case, it should not be an extension of the teaching, research or accommodation capacities, since there have been built enough of these by BUT recently. At the same time, the proposed activities should not be controversial with the interests of the city. The BUT area at Kraví hora is one of the most valuable areas of the city of Brno. The city, which has tried to buy it from BUT several times, has an eminent interest in this area. However BUT considers it as its "family silver", because they realize its extraordinary value. Nevertheless, due to the binding regulatory conditions, construction possibilities are very limited. The aim of this study is to find such a use of this area, which would be a compromise corresponding to both the city's expectations and the needs of BUT. The intention of the previous project, which has been continued by this diploma thesis, was the removal of unsatisfactory buildings and the reduction of the garden colonies; despite to a study created by the City of Brno but partially kept, cultivated and reorganized; and rebuilding of the BUT area, which will be opened to the public and communicate with park. The public will obtain an access to nowadays inaccessible and impermeable areas by removing inappropriate buildings and fences, as well as by the modification of the public space and creating one major spine communication realized as an extension of the existing road and which will serve only for the supply, hikers and cyclists. Krnov is a city located in Northern Moravia which lays at a foothill of Jeseníky. It is a lively city with a rich history known for its multiculturalism. This fact has had a major political, social and economic changes. Mostly in recent years there has been an increase in a number of activities of various communities, and ambitions of municipality and locals to get improve the quality of culture, family and healthy living near country side. Despite the fact that in the urban structure the distribution of function of residential, cultural, sacral, and industrial architecture it is typical for krnov history.

The subject of this architectural study is to design a new transfer terminal in the dairy town of Dvur Kralove nad Labem. The project seeks to take into account the main town planning principles and to add the city to the architectonically interesting solution of the given parcel while fulfilling the functional requirements of the project promoter - the city of Dvur Kralove nad Labem. The purpose is to create a building and public space in the city that will enhance its quality and satisfy the needs of both residents and passengers.

Suggestions for Improving Services and Increasing Clients' Satisfaction with Information Centre Olomouc

This thesis is focused on an analysis of satisfaction of customers, as well as their suggestions for improvement, of the Information Centre Olomouc, which is the only information centre in the city of Olomouc. The theoretical part is focused on an analysis of customers’ satisfaction, which means marketing research and related concepts. The practical part consists of an analysis of the data collected during a marketing research among the customers of IC Olomouc. The resulting information then serves as a basis for suggestions that should result in the improvement of the effectivity of the service and increasing customers’ satisfaction.

Návrh informačního centra na webu Bio-nails

Bachelor thesis is focused on the proposal of the information centre for the e-shop of a company selling nail cosmetics. The company Bio-nails specializes in selling hypo-allergenic cosmetics for nails and skin. The information centre architecture is designed using an internet-based mind mapping tool. The literary part explains topics in marketing and information architecture. The analytical part includes an analysis of the competitors and their advice center, an analysis of the selected company, its USP and target group and the content of the selected web pages. By combining the findings from the analysis of the company, its content and other analyses, a proposal is created. The proposal part includes the design of the infor-mation architecture of the new information center and the recommendation for a chatbot based on it. Finally, the paper contains an approximate cost calculation for the implementation of the proposal.
